RecFest 2022 was the largest festival for recruiters worldwide. In front of a sell-out crowd, hundreds of inspiring speakers, such as George LaRocque, Torin Ellis, Chris Long and Yasar Ahmad, graced the stages at Knebworth Park. These were the highlights of RecFest 2022.
From East London to Stevenage
The history of the largest recruitment-related festival in the world goes back to 2014, when RecFest was organised for the first time in a performing arts studio in London, with a couple hundred visitors. It aimed to break the barriers of beige conferences rooms and beige suits into a flip-flop-heavy paradise in a cutting-edge event dedicated to forward thinking.
In 2022, RecFest came to Knebworth Park, obscurely located in the outskirts of Stevenage.
Subsequently RecFest was organised on the Thames, in London’s iconic Borough Market, in Mudchute Park and in Margate. Each year amassing more visitors than the year prior. In 2022, RecFest came to Knebworth Park, obscurely located on the outskirts of Stevenage. The town renowned for raising all-time Formula One great Lewis Hamilton… and not much else.
Hundreds of inspiring speakers
The event was a complete sell-out. In total, approximately 3500 people strolled past several recruitment software vendors. Meanwhile, several stages hosted some of the branche’s most inspiring speakers. Ranging from former Olympic champion Rebecca Adlington to inspiring DEI advocate Torin Ellis. And from renowned recruitment technology expert George LaRocque of WorkTech to Yasar Ahmad, HelloFresh’s Global VP of Talent.
