What is the 9-Grid exactly?
The Fosway 9-Grid is a five-dimensional model that can be used to understand the relative position of different solutions and providers in a selecter market segment. It allows organisations to compare solutions on a number of different zones. Each solution is independently tested based on their performance, potential, presence, total cost of ownership and future trajectory. For recruitment and talent acquisition, it is one of the most sought-after analysis.
‘TA Specialists heavily disrupt the status quo’
It is the third edition of Fosway’s 9-Grid for Talent Acquisition. Back in 2020, when the first grid was published, it was during a time where the market was undergoing ‘significant changes’. “Major Applicant Tracking System (ATS) providers were experiencing decline, as next-gen HM and TA suite players disrupted the market by enabling corporates to optimise recruiting strategies across the entire funnel.”
“However, only a few years later, these next-gen TA platforms are now themselves under pressure”, the report notes. “As TA Specialists heavily disrupt the status quo with new capabilities in intelligence, automation, and experience. Advances in Artificial Intelligence (Al) are accelerating this disruption further and transforming both the application process, as well as how organisations attract, hire, assess, select, onboard and develop their staff.”
12 new solutions
Every year, there are new inclusions and exclusions on the list. “Entries into the Fosway 9-Grid for are made based on the relevance of these solutions within Fosway’s Corporate Research Network, which focuses on European enterprise-scale corporates. As a result, there are a number of US-based solutions that are omitted because they do not currently have an adequate international presence for us to provide a relevant commentary. Conversely, there may be providers with little recoqnition outside EMEA that are included because they have built up enough presence with European customers to warrant inclusion.”
