Textkernel, global leader in machine intelligence for people and jobs, has launched its resume parsing technology for customers of Oracle Recruiting Cloud. Customers can now enable ‘a truly 21st-century candidate experience’ by allowing applicants to easily and quickly apply for a vacancy, without the need to fill in a long-form or creating a profile.

CV parsing

Textkernel is an expert in CV parsing, which is the process of converting an unstructured CV into a structured format that can be integrated into any software system. It helps recruiting teams create a better candidate experience, eliminates manual data entry and enables better search. Laura Starreveld, Senior Marketing Manager Global Partnerships at Textkernel, tells Recruitment Tech more about the partnership.

Could you tell us a little more about this partnership?

“Over the past years, we’ve integrated our technologies for many customers using Oracle and we’re excited that our cv/resume parsing is now also available on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace. This means that customers using Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Oracle’s new flagship product for Recruiting and HR, can now also get parsing integrated. A great win since there’s no native parsing on board. We’ve heard great feedback from both Oracle as well as their customers, so you can imagine this is something we’re quite happy with!”

What does this mean for Textkernel?

“It’s another great milestone! We believe that the right technology at the right place can bring tremendous value to the recruitment process, for every organization. Together with our partners, we can make that happen, for every organization across the globe. Collaboration with our partners is key to us and we’re always on the lookout to extend our partner network.”

What does this add for Oracle’s customers?

“Our CV or resume parsing helps increase conversion on your career site. We all know that long forms scare off good candidates. In today’s digital age candidates need to be able to easily and quickly apply to your vacancies, without the need to recreate their profile. To give you a more concrete example of what this could mean for Oracle customers: one of our customers, Colas, a $13 billion+ revenue company in France, has integrated our parsing into their Oracle Talent Acquisition Cloud and seen an increase of up to 440% in conversion on their career site. Simultaneously, our parsing technology also helps organizations building an enriched and structured database that helps perform better searches.”
