Many startups are active in the field of recruitment and talent technology. Young companies that challenge existing technologies and providers with innovative solutions. These companies of the future often do not have large marketing budgets. Recruitment + Talent Tech Demo_Day therefore offers six startups (3 x talent technology and 3 x recruitment technology) the opportunity to be present at the second edition of Demo_Day on June 6, 2019 in Utrecht (the Netherlands) with a free partnership worth € 2.500,-.
From Monday 18 February until Friday 15 March 2019 startups can participate in the Startup Pitch and indicate why they should not be missed during Demo_Day 2019. The organization will evaluate all entries and choose six startups from them. The organization will judge the pitches on the following issues, among others:
- Innovative character of the tool
- Distinctiveness of the solution
- Substantiation of the pitch
Who can participate?
The Startup Pitch is intended for European startups in the field of recruitment and/or talent technology. The startup must be established after 1 January 2018. The organisation must act as a startup by clearly stating this in its communication and/or be associated with an incubator and/or employ a maximum of 10 people.
Public jury and wildcards
From 19 March to 5 April 2019, the public can vote for the nominated startups and thus determine 4 of the 6 places. In addition, the organization chooses 2 startups that receive a wildcard. On Wednesday 10 April the winners will be announced in a live stream from 16.00 – 16.30 hours.
What will the winning startups get?
The winning startups will get a partnership including a demo spot in the Startup Corner during Demo_Day and 2 crew tickets. In addition, you will twice give a short demo of your tool in the Speakers Corner. The organization will provide a demo desk to place a laptop for example to give a demo. We also provide power and wifi. As a startup, you only need to bring a rollup banner (maximum 85 cm wide), laptop and flyer material.
In addition, the winners get the necessary visibility via Recruitmenttech.nl (including Recruitment Tech Guide 2020, a Dutch annual book with 10,000 copies) and HRTechReview.nl.

Via this form, you can submit your Startup Pitch from February 18th until March 25th 2019. Besides text, you can also send a video link with a demo or a pitch on camera for example.
