Startup Pitch 2022

Many startups are active in the field of recruitment technology. Young companies that challenge existing technologies and providers with innovative solutions. These companies of the future often do not have large marketing budgets. Recruitment Tech Demo_Day on June 9th 2022 in Utrecht, the Netherlands, therefore offers one European startup the opportunity to present themselves for free. Who will follow up this year’s 2021 winners: DonnaKnows and SkillsCV?

Submit until February 25th 2022

From Wednesday January 19th until Friday February 25th 2022 startups can submit their Startup Pitch and indicate why they should not be missing during Demo_Day 2022. Together with the public jury, the organization will decide which three startups can present themselves for free. The organization will judge the pitches on the following matters:

  • Innovative character of the tool;
  • Distinctiveness of the solution;
  • Substantiation of the pitch;
  • Quality of the pitch

What will the winning startup get?

One startup will get a demo spot during Demo_Day and 2 crew tickets.

The organization will provide a demo desk to place, for example, a laptop on to give a demo. We also provide power and wifi. As a startup you only need to bring a rollup banner (maximum 85 cm wide), laptop and flyer material. In addition, you will provide a short demo of your tool during a breakout.

Furthermore, the startups get the necessary visibility through Recruitmenttech.nl, Recruitment Tech Podcasts and the Recruitment Tech Monthly.

Who can participate?

The Startup Pitch is intended for European startups in the field of recruitment and/or talent technology. The startup must be established after 1 January 2020. The organisation must act as a startup by clearly mentioning this in its communication and/or be associated with an incubator and/or have a maximum of 10 employees.

Public jury

The public may vote for the nominated startups from the 2th of March until the 1st of April 2022. The results of the public jury and the organization both count for 50%. On Wednesday 6 April the winners will be announced via a live stream via LinkedIn from 16.00 – 16.30 hrs.

Planning 2022

  • 19 January: start of submissions
  • 25 February: end of submissions
  • 2 March: announcement of nominations + start public jury
  • 1 April: end of public jury
  • 6 April: announcement of winners in Utrecht, to be followed via LinkedIn Live (16.00 hours)
  • 9 June: Demo_Day 2022
