Warsaw-based Devskiller has raised €1 million in bridge funding from SpeedUp Energy Innovation (SEI). The Polish platform that tests the coding skills of job applicants will expand its product into a comprehensive skills development and talent management tool.
The next natural step
Jakub Kubrynski, DevSkiller CEO: “We’ve started off with DevSkiller which is the technical skills assessment platform powered by RealLifeTesting. The next natural step for us was to start expanding our software range to become the first one-stop-shop for hiring and developing talent using our end-to-end system for sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and talent analytics.” The Polish startup was founded in 2013 and is now used by over 250 customers from nearly 60 countries, including the US, the UK, Canada, France, Australia, Sweden, Japan, and China with clients like PayPal, Cisco, ING, Deloitte, Criteo, and EY.
Bartlomiej Gola, founding partner at SpeedUp Group and managing partner at SEI: “Considering their achievements, DevSkiller required very little funding so far and I have to say, this has been by far the easiest investment decision for us in a very long time.”
Devskiller is a developer screening and online interview platform powered by RealLifeTesting™ methodology. The tool allows you to find developers with the right skill set, shortening your Time-to-Hire by 60%. Our programming tests mirror the 1st day of work experience to identify top performers. They go beyond testing languages by testing frameworks, libraries, and databases. They claim to make sourcing easier with both the proven method they teach in their technical recruitment course and the tools they provide to conduct hackathons.
