Discrimination on the job market

Almost two-thirds of Dutch employees and employers agree: even in the current work climate discrimination is still a problem. But at the same time, the willingness to do something about it is growing, according to the so-called Discrimination Monitor. In recent years, the topic was high on the agenda of over 60% of employers, this has now risen to 71%. For the survey, over two thousand respondents were questioned by online research agency Panel Inzicht. It shows that for employers ‘diversity’ has mainly to do with age and gender (42%), while employees in this concept rather think of origin (47%). According to the research of DPG Recruitment, 65 percent of employers and employees need more awareness and knowledge around the theme.
