Automation will be key among recruiting teams of the future. 95% of recruiting professionals cite their desire to automate more of the sourcing process.

Automation is hot

It will soon be all about automating the small and the big things in recruitment. According to Findem’s annual Recruitment Tech Survey, automated processes are on everyone’s mind. Part of it is born out of necessity, says the report. “With only 25% of respondents adding headcount to their teams, it is no wonder that automation is such a priority.”

The report states that modern sourcing tools are now able to automate many aspects of a typically manual and time-consuming process. “Conduct an A/B test this year to compare the time required to identify 50 quality candidates using manual methods versus automated methods.”

‘64% of companies reporting they will increase their recruitment automation’

The automation process will shortly be undeniable. According to the report, 64% of its 100 high-level HR respondents say they expect increased automation to shape the industry over the next few years.

“These technologies are key to achieving hiring goals, particularly those related to diversity, equity and inclusion.”

“They will continue to prioritise sourcing tools. With an emphasis on those that leverage next-generation automation, artificial intelligence and machine learning”, the report states. “These technologies are key to achieving hiring goals, particularly those related to diversity, equity and inclusion.”
