Friday Fact: 10% more automation of recruitment process in 2021

In Friday Fact, Recruitment Tech focuses on a fact about recruitment technology based on recent research. This week: 10% more automation of the recruitment process by 2021.

Recruitment process automation

In the Recruitment Tech Survey 2021, we asked participants what percentage of their recruitment process was automated in 2020. Among the more than 400 professionals who answered this question, we found that on average about 35% of the recruitment process was automated in 2020. Nearly 2% of respondents indicated that the entire recruitment process had already been automated in the past year.

We also asked the respondents what the automation of the recruitment process looks like in 2021. This can be seen in the graph below. The average rose to 46.3%, an increase of no less than ten percent compared to 2020. The results for 2020 and 2021 showed almost no differences between respondents working at agencies and those working for corporates.
