In Bolier Talks Tech recruitment expert and host René Bolier and a guest share insights, tips and tricks on various topics regarding recruitment and tech. The topic of this fourth episode is autonomous recruiting.

Guest: Felix Wetzel

The guest of René Bolier is recruiting expert Felix Wetzel. He is Chief Revenue Officer at Pocket Recruiter since 2017. Pocket Recruiter is a recruitment automation platform delivering speed through relevance. The AI-based system screens, sources and selects candidates from in-bound and out-bound activity. He gained years of experience in working for companies like zyx associates, idibu, Serocor and Jobrapido.

Autonomous recruiting

When will autonomous recruiting happen? Felix Wetzel believes the right time is now. “Now, witch COVID, a lot of businesses are on their knees, a lot of businesses are looking at it and say ‘wow, let’s just do it now’. While the revenues or profits are lower, we might as well do it now. A lot of companies already had these plans for automation and AI and they’ve just pulled it out.”

In the video and the podcast below Felix Wetzel gives some concrete examples of how things will change for the candidate and the recruiter and how it will benefit them, the greatest dangers of autonomous recruiting and much more.
