In Bolier Talks Tech recruitment expert and host René Bolier and a guest share insights, tips and tricks on various topics regarding recruitment and tech. The topic of this fifth episode is recruitment assessments.

Guest: Bas van de Haterd

The guest of René Bolier is recruiting expert Bas van de Haterd. Bas is founder and director of Digitaal-Werven, an annual study into which organisation offers candidates the best application experience. He has also written five books about the future of work and gives keynotes about this topic all over the world.

Recruitment assessments

“Right now hopefully we are at the end of the pandemic,” says Bas van de Haterd. “And what I see is that some of my clients are seeing an increasing number of applicants. I have recently spoken to an organisation that had 106 applicants in 6 minutes. So they really need technology to do pre-selection, and if you do that then you also get a much stronger quality of hire and you also have much more diversity.”

In the video and the podcast below Bas van de Haterd gives some concrete examples of what the future of recruitment assessments look like.
