2021 started with big news in January: HR solutions company Emply joined Paychex/Lessor Group. The company is a fast growth full-suite HR SaaS provider, that includes solutions for HR management, recruiting, onboarding, and learning management. Both Lessor and Emply are headquartered in Denmark and will remain in their current locations after the acquisition. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The Spanish football club Real Sociedad and the Amsterdam-based sports-tech company BrainsFirst started working together in january. The partners have a common goal: making the process of talent identification & evaluation more data-driven and scalable. In these times in particular, remote testing is of great value. By combining gamification and neuroscience technology, BrainsFirst offers an online validated assessment game platform.
A survey of 500 HR managers conducted by HR.com in the Q4 of 2020 reveals what adjustments recruitment specialists had to make due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and also reveals what the most popular high volume recruitment tactics and assessment tools were in 2020. Covid-19 prompted many recruitment specialists to quickly adapt their talent recruitment processes, priorities and technologies to the new realities. Many of the responses were limited to organizations that are or have been engaged in high-volume recruitment.
