Two big fundings in the world of recruitment technology in the last few days: Beamery and Eightfold AI did raise hundreds of millions for their technology.
Talent operating system Beamery
Beamery, a ‘talent operating system’ based in London has raised USD 138 million (£99.2 million) with plans to use the funding to continue building out more technology, as well as growing its business, reports TechCrunch. Beamery provides organizations with a single platform to manage the entire talent lifecycle by aggregating and analysing billions of relevant data points from across the web and the organization’s existing technology, to quickly identify and prioritize potential candidates that are likely to thrive at their organization. The tool can be used to help reach diversity targets, provide better learning opportunities and career pathways for existing employees and understand the skills and capabilities organizations need to build their workforce of the future.
Funding Eightfold AI
Eightfold AI announced a $220 million series E funding round on Thursday. The round brings total funding at the company to $410 million. Eightfold is an AI-powered talent intelligence platform that works with enterprises to address the full scope of their talent needs, including the recruitment and hiring process and ongoing talent management, including upskilling their workforce, according to the company. It also provides a chatbot. “At Eightfold, we have an unprecedented opportunity, using AI to align the career goals of individuals while simultaneously creating better results for employers”, founder and CEO Ashutosh Garg said.
