A survey among 360 recruiters showed that the average careers site is good. According to the Annual Membership Survey 2021 from the FIRM, 36% of the recruiters say its careers site is ‘good’ and 15% calls it ‘very good’.

Good careers site

From the 360 recruiters, 94% have a corporate careers site. That is one percent more than the survey a year before. Over 50% think that their careers site is Good/Very Good, last year that was 46%, so there’s some improvement. The careers sites with all capabilities, an EB function or a larger resourcing function rate better.

Two years old

Most of the sites are over 2 years old (63%), but the content has been refreshed more recently in most cases. 61% of the content was refreshed in 2019. Those that have the largest budget are most likely to have refreshed in last year, those that feel they have all capabilities are most likely to have also redesigned last year, the survey says.

The recruiters are happy with their careers site, which can be seen from things like visibility, ease of application, appearance, accessibility, mobile friendly and mobile optimized. You can find the whole study here.
