Impactpool is the world’s leading and fastest growing career platform, aiming to bring together organisations that have an impact and candidates that want to make an impact. Recruitment Tech spoke to Alexander Denborg, Impactpool’s regional director Europe and Africa, for a video-interview.

Impactpool: making an impact

Impactpool helps highly-qualified and motivated individuals to grow professionally and make an impact with their careers. “So we’re a career platform that helps and attracts candidates”, Denborg says. “For candidates that want to get jobs with impactful companies. Or organisations that want to work on their impact. We solve the problem of helping customers get the relevant candidates. And meet the candidates that are relevant, that want to work.”

Impactpool has become the world’s fastest growing career website with a focus on talents and organisations who are striving for and contributing to a sustainable world.

The company was initially founded in 2015, with headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden. Impactpool is a career platform devoted to provide the best possible support to people who want to pursue a career within what they call ‘mission-driven organisations’. In a relatively short timeframe, Impactpool has become the world’s fastest growing career website. All through a focus on talents and organisations who are striving for and contributing to a sustainable world.

‘Finding the right and relevant candidates’

Impactpool gathers vacancies from hundreds of international organisations around the world, covering all UN organisations, International Financial Institutions, the European Union and the most influential Intergovernmental and Non-Governmental organisations. “The main benefits are that you know that you are getting candidates that really want to work in impactful organisations or NGOs”, Denborg says. “Those are real benefits for recruitment. Because we have a pool of candidates really want to work for those types of organisations. We usually scrape jobs. But it’s also an option for companies to post jobs on our website.”

“We really stand out in the sense that we verify all organisations that are making an impact.”

For organisations, Impactpool has also built an advanced job matching algorithm that sends jobs to suitable candidates, based on experience, seniority, area of expertise, language preferences and more. “We really stand out in the sense that we verify all organisations that are making an impact. So for candidates, they know they’ll be applying for organisations that are basically verified for making an impact.”

Eyeing worldwide growth

As far as Impactpool’s reach, the company reports some serious numbers. As many as 700,000+ talents are signed up, with the website amassing 500,000 site visits per month. Currently, around 7,000 jobs are available for job seekers seeking impact in their choice of work. But Impactpool is eyeing more growth, Denborg says. “Our roadmap is to get a touch bigger in the European markets that we’re in currently, in the United States and also in Latin America. Finally, we see a real opportunity of getting into the private sector industry.”
