5 free video tools for sourcing and communicating with candidates

We live in times where candidates and employers being spread over the world. Video tools for sourcing candidates offer help. But video tools can also help to make communication in the hiring and onboarding process more personal. There’s a great offer of paid video technology for recruitment support. 1. Vidyard Govideo

Vidyard can be used from Google Chrome and has three products. One platform where you can host, share and track videos. A second product called Vidyard GoVideo for recording and sending videos. You can record your webcam, browser tab or full screen. Also, you’re able to add in-video or call-to-actions and book an interview right from the video. And the third product is Personlized Video’s for creating a unique experience per viewer. Vidyard is fully customizable to create a unique first impression and is responsive across all devices.

2. Wistia Soapbox

Wistia Soapbox is a Chrome extension that enables anyone to record, edit, share, and measure presentation videos. It’s let you record your webcam and screen simultaneously. When you finish recording you can transition between split screen and full-screen layouts. Also, you can share your soapbox video instantly with a link or by adding it to an e-mail.

3. Useloom.com

Useloom.com is a video tool free of charge that you can use as an extension from the Google Chrome browser. Capture your screen, record your front-facing camera, embed the video right into an e-mail and track when someone views it. Loom makes it possible to communicate in a more personal way with candidates and share the hiring timeline in a warm, friendly way.

4. Easyhire.me

Through the use of latest Web and Video technologies, the service of EasyHire.me brings employers and job seekers closer together. 5. Google Hangouts

Google Hangouts is a platform developed by Google which can be used for video chatting and videoconferences with candidates. Google Hangouts can be reached through login into Google or via Google +. In Google Hangouts there are quite some applications and options available like screens sharing, document sharing, working on a document together, sharing links and copy etc. Also, you can influence who can speak in the conference and who can see what. A maximum of 10 people can join the videoconference and it can be used by multiple devices such as desktop, tablet and mobile.
